We are a small charity passionately supporting neurodiverse children and their families, we are based in Hertfordshire
Families met up at DJ’s Play Park in Hemel Hempstead, giving the children a chance to run and jump around, they also have a wonderful sensory den onsite, and large café for adults to catch up over a coffee.
Up Community hosted our first sensory stay and play group at a local community centre in Borehamwood. Many families came and enjoyed the fun play in a calm and welcoming atmosphere and parents/ guardians were able to meet and make new friends.
With a festive themed sensory stay and play group, we were able to facilitate this in a larger hall to create more space so we could include a bouncy castle and bubble machine for children and families to enjoy.
